THE OFFICIAL NORDSCHLEIFE LAP RECORD VIDEO! On 19 August 2009, Radical Sportscars from Peterborough, England, successfully smashed the Nürburgring Nordschleife Production Car Lap Record by eight seconds, with racing driver and 'Ring expert Michael Vergers at the wheel. The new SR8 LM's time of 6m48s beat a record that has stood since 2005, also set by Radical in a previous-generation SR8. The record attempt was witnessed and confirmed by both the UK's evo and Germany's Sport Auto motoring magazines. To confirm the car's road-legal, production car status, the car was driven from the UK to Germany for the attempt, using the same road-legal Dunlop Direzza tyres for both the journey and the record.

Very interesting post.. I can see that you put a lot of hard work on your blog. I'm sure I'd visit here more often. By the way, you might also want to take a look at Vivid racing for performace parts , brake kits , hre rims and other cool auto stuffs.

ReplyDeleteHi there, great blog! I've always been fascinated with kit cars ever since first seeing one on the road when I was a kid! It's brilliant to read such an enthusiastic blog of them!
ReplyDeleteI realise you haven't updated here in quite a long time, but perhaps I could persuade you to give it a second life over at Glipho? We're a new social blogging site with an active community of creative bloggers, many of whom write about cars themselves- I know they would find this blog as entertaining as I did! If you like, come take a quick look over at http://glipho.com and see what you think!
Thanks for your time,
All the best,
Teo
